Time to give Cal Poly your thoughts on future development

Flickr member youngthousands

You'll have an opportunity this weekend to give the administration at Cal Poly some future direction as to where it should head with major projects like land development, circulation and facilities.

The university is working on it's 20-year-plan and Saturday's open house is one of the first steps.

Linda Dalton is part of the project and says the university is hoping to hear what the public has to say on possible projects.

"We would really like this session to focus on issues with the new master plan, but of course we know that some people will come and comment on other issues as well," said Dalton. "It's really about the future looking out 20 to 25 years."

In addition to public workshops, the university has formed six community and campus advisory groups.

Saturday morning's event will be at the Ludwick Community Center from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
