KNBX—the Central Coast Public Radio station transmitter in San Ardo—will be off the air from approximately 8:00 a.m. Wednesday morning until about 3:00 p.m. this afternoon.

This means KCBX programming for much of Wednesday will have to be streamed here on the station's website for those affected. You can also access our content via a number of free smart phone and tablet apps, including TuneIn and NPR News.

The reason for the transmitter outage is a power disruption created by work that's being done in the vicinity to replace two poles.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and hope to have our signal back up as soon as possible.
