Accounting for Nonfinancial Assets
Most nonprofits accept in-kind gifts of various kinds. Formally termed nonfinancial assets, these include such things as land, equipment, utilities, supplies, and various services. Become familiar with recently adopted standards for presenting and disclosing such items.
Who should attend: Nonprofit Executive Directors, CFOs at larger nonprofits, or anyone at smaller nonprofits that are not required to have an audit but may be approaching that threshold, or simply want to implement best practices in their accounting. Presenter: Erin Nagle, Principal, Glenn Burdette
