Join us at the historic Bay Theatre for an evening of surf and earth-inspired films. We'll be featuring multiple award winning film The Road to Patagonia, an inspiring story of surf, adventure, and love—the love of two people, of humanity, and for the earth. The Road to Patagonia won the Best Film and Best Documentary at the Byron Bay International Film Festival, the Audience Choice awards at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival and Florida Surf Film Festival.—We're also showcasing Para Siempre Coco, a short 8mm surf and travel film documented and scored by local surfers Sequoia Wade-Dunleavy and Scott Smith.—And we're showing Morro Bay High School Film Festival winner Trashman by Eli Waldman and Thomas Standridge, an ecological short story about trash filmed on the Central Coast. We'll have local wine, beer, and cider and slices from Pizza Port to purchase at the event—and a chance to win 2 nights at Treebones Resort and 1 dinner at the Lodge Restaurant in Big Sur.The proceeds will go towards serving our most vulnerable neighbors.

The San Luis Obispo College of Law will celebrate 10 years of legal education and will welcome new President and CEO, Lisa Sperow, at the Open House Event.Since opening its doors in 2015, SLOCL has served aspiring attorneys, working professionals, and community leaders with a rigorous, accessible, and community-focused legal education.To commemorate this 10th anniversary, the school is hosting an open house event to welcome students, alumni, faculty, and community partners. The celebration also includes a special introduction of Lisa Sperow as the new President and CEO of Monterey College of Law, the parent institution of San Luis Obispo College of Law.
