News Director
KCBX has an immediate need for an experienced manager and collaborator to be our News Director — leading a small, award-winning team of reporters, freelancers and interns, and overseeing all news coverage of our region on our broadcast and digital platforms.
Journalism degree or equivalent required. Must have minimum three years full-time professional experience in journalism — preferably radio news. News director experience strongly preferred. Management experience required. Strong writing, editing and leadership skills are a must.

Fill-in and holiday announcer
KCBX Central Coast Public Radio has an immediate need for an on-call, fill-in and holiday announcer. Must have on-air experience and flexibility to substitute for our permanent staff announcers.
Requirements include excellent on-air skills, minimum of one year experience announcing live radio is required.
