Frank Kalman, founder of the Kids' Cancer Research Foundation and author of the free guide Steps to Hope, changed his life's focus after a doctor told him a similar statement many years ago about his daughter.
Not only did he succeed in helping his daughter fight her terminal diagnosis, but he also created a structure for other parents and patients to follow, based on his experiences.
Kalman also attended this year's Cancer Moonshot Summit, where he got an opportunity to mix with the movers and shakers in the cancer treatment community.
