Blues Musician Kenney Neal plays and shares story with Tom Wilmer

Neal Plays Santa Barbara Blues Society March 21st.

Join correspondent, Tom Wilmer in Helena, Arkansas at the King Biscuit Blues Festival where he visits with blues artist, Kenny Neal. Born in New Orleans and raised in Baton Rouge. Neal was introduced to the blues tradition by his father, Raful, who was a singer and harmonica player and close friends with Lazy Lester, Buddy Guy, Slim Harpo, and other blues legends. Neal has won numerous industry awards, including the Monterey Bay Blues "Artists of the Year", Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, West Coast Blues Hall of Fame, a four-time Grammy nominee, and recipient of a "World Award" for starring on Broadway. Kenny will be a headliner at the Santa Barbara Blues Society birthday bash at the Carrillo Recreation Center, March 21st at 8 p.m.
