As we prepare to celebrate the historic passage of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) more than 25 years ago, although much progress has been made, much remains to be done.
Due to the ADA, people with disabilities now have better access to businesses, buildings, state and local government programs and services, as well as having increased opportunities for employment through the accommodations it provides. How can we continue to provide more opportunities for full participation to everything our community has to offer?
Join host Fred Munroe as he speaks with disability activists Susan Chandler, Paul Wolff, and BillWalthers as they discuss the upcoming 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on July 26, 2015, celebrate its history, learn about local efforts to celebrate and renew ourcommitment to creating access for all on the Central Coast. Central Coast Voices is sponsored by ACTION for Healthy Communities in collaboration with KCBX and made possible through underwriting by Joan Gellert-Sargen
