Celebrity couple Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are helping the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office build its Carpinteria station.
Sheriff's Spokesperson Kelly Hoover confirmed to KCBX that the part-time Montecito residents donated $10,000 to the cause.
The Santa Barbara Independent reports it will be used on bicycle gear, beach patrol, and other station improvements.
This is the second time the couple has donated money to help the local Sheriff's Office.
