Join correspondent Tom Wilmer for a conversation with Kiran Singh Sirah, president of the International Storytelling Center in Jonesborough, Tennessee. Sirah shares tales of how he manifests the art and craft of storytelling to propel conversations about peace and reconciliation around the world, and close to home in Tennessee.
Sirah reflects on his time in Northern Ireland, where he hosted peace and reconciliation symposiums for ten years; and in Charleston, South Carolina following the massacre at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church.
The annual National Storytelling Festival happens every October, but due to COVID-19, the 48th annual event will be a totally virtual event. To learn more about the International Storytelling Center log on to www.storytellingcenter.net
