Ears On Art continues our visit with Michael J Strand, an artist from North Dakota who enjoys the challenge of using objects to stimulate human interaction.
He is a ceramicist who will readily use other materials if the need arises. When the city of Fargo was on the verge of being destroyed by flood waters, he found a way to make sandbagging a very different event that involved all ages. His is an intriguing approach to the use of art and problem solving to bring people together.
