One of the longest ships in the U.S. Navy is sitting in the Santa Barbara Channel this evening, after arriving along our coast earlier this morning.

The USS Ronald Reagan and its crew are in the midst of a four day visit to the area.

The warship's home port is down in San Diego, but after this stop in Santa Barbara it's leaving for Japan.

Crew members will have opportunities to leave the Ronald Reagan while here, as they did on Friday, giving them an opportunity to explore the Central Coast a bit.
