Many veterans encounter a variety of problems in transitioning from military service to a fully productive life as civilians.

The program, “A Way Back Home,” provided by Central Coast Veterans Helping Veterans (CCVHV) is a guided journey of reckoning and reconciliation between veterans and civilians. This non-sectarian journey provides a ritual based healing of the wounds of PTSD based on ancient wisdom and traditions.

Join host Kris Kington Barker as she speaks with Father Michael Cicinato, Chaplain for CCVHV and Healing Journey Coordinator, Co-Author and psychotherapist, Peter Sternberg, Pete Pepper, Director, CCVHV, and Robert Denney, Veteran Participant, as they discuss their upcoming program and how they assist veterans and civilians in the healing of moral and ethical injury associated with post traumatic soul distress.

Central Coast Voices is sponsored by ACTION for Healthy Communities in collaboration with KCBX and made possible through underwriting by Joan Gellert-Sargen.
