Three San Luis Obispo men have been arrested in connection with a fire in a computer lab at San Luis Obispo High School early Thursday morning. Firefighters were able to save the surrounding building but the flames destroyed the computer lab itself.

Police say while firefighters were trying stop the fire from spreading to adjacent school buildings, the city’s communication center received a call from a nearby resident. The resident reported seeing the three men jumping a fence that led to the fire scene.

Jacob Ruth, 19; Michael Benadiba, 18 and Cameron Bratcher, 18 were arrested and charged with felony burglary, vandalism, and arson. The three teens were booked in the county jail and bail set at $25,000 each.
