Firefighters are working on extinguishing an estimated 50-acre brush fire near Lopez Lake in San Luis Obispo County. The Camino Fire broke out Friday afternoon east of Arroyo Grande.
No structures are threatened.
Hot and dry conditions are fueling the fire. The National Weather Service said as of mid-afternoon, in the fire area, the mercury read 91 degrees and the relative humidity was at 14 percent.
According to CalFire San Luis Obispo, the incident commander ordered additional aircraft just after 3 p.m.
