An organization that financially supports female business leaders in Santa Barbara is celebrating its 25th year, this year.

Women’s Economic Ventures (WEV) got its start in 1991, offering a micro-loan fund and self-employment training program. In the years since, it’s worked to establish an equitable and just society through the economic empowerment of women.
