Marisa Waddell talks with two women who seek the highest potential in themselves and aim to help others find the courage to do the same. Laura Grace is the founder of the upcoming Central Coast Annual Women's Symposium, and Dr. Joan Borysenko is its keynote speaker.  She's an internationally-renowned speaker and consultant in women's health and spirituality, integrative medicine, and the mind-body connection.  The topic of this year's symposium is Saying Yes to Change: Essential Wisdom for Your Journey.

Marisa Waddell
As director of programming and content, Marisa Waddell coordinates the radio programming on KCBX and KCBX HD2 and leads efforts to develop content on the KCBX website and other digital platforms. She manages the KCBX on-air and newsroom staff, volunteer program hosts, and contributors. Marisa also hosts the Americana music program The Road Home, (Thurs. 6:30-8:00 p.m.) and contributes interviews and stories to the weekly KCBX radio magazine Issues and Ideas and to KCBX News.
