Becoming Julia Morgan, a staged reading

Becoming Julia Morgan, a staged reading
"Becoming Julia Morgan" is a fast-paced play about the architect and builder of Hearst Castle and 700 other buildings. The first woman architect to be licensed in California, she loved her work but kept her personal life private. Playwright Belinda Taylor, a former journalist with a genius for research and dialogue, cleverly weaves the strands of past, present, and future with flashbacks while Julia reveals her experiences to reporter Jerry Mac, a reporter for William Randolph Hearst.
