Streaming KCBX
Smart Speakers
You can listen to KCBX on your smart speakers, like Amazon's Echo speakers and Google's Nest speakers, or any device using Amazon's Alexa or the Google Assistant services.
To play KCBX, just say the prompt phrase for your device, like "Alexa..." or "Hey, Google..." followed by "...play KCBX."
Alternatively, you can say "Alexa...play NPR" if your device is having trouble understanding when you say "KCBX." In this case, you may need to tell the NPR service what station you want to listen to by providing the call letters or your zip code. You should only need to do this one time.
If you want to change the station NPR is playing, you can say "Alexa...ask NPR to change my station." This will make NPR ask for the station call letters or zip code again.
There are multiple ways to listen to KCBX using your phone or tablet.
