On Saturday, June 7th, kids and parents can meet award-winning local author Debbie Black at Coalesce Bookstore where she will also sign copies of Deetjen’s Closet and newly-released The Old Secret at Hotel Oregon—two books in her magic + mystery + history novel series for kids ages 8-12. Both books will be available for purchase. There will be a free drawing for unique, book-related prizes. Set along the Central Coast, Big Sur, and Oregon, the books have won First Place in the Gertrude Warner Middle Grade Fiction Awards and a 5-star rating from Readers Favorites.
