SLO County Creeks to Coast Cleanup is part of the Coastal Cleanup Day, an international event, focused on cleaning beaches and waterways around the world. In California, Coastal Cleanup Day holds the distinction of drawing the most participation of any other volunteer event in its 35-year history. As County Coordinator since 2003, ECOSLO works with the California Coastal Commission to bring our community the campaign for healthy coasts, shorelines, and oceans. In past years hundreds of volunteers have worked to collect thousands of pounds of trash and recyclables, in just three hours! Join us on September 23 from 8 am to 3 pm at any of our 32 locations up and down the coast to make a difference!
