Jim Corridan presents The Voyages of William Goodwin Dana. Departing in 1816 at the age of 19, William Dana circumnavigated the globe. He conducted trade in China, Russia and Alaska, Alta California, South America, and islands across the Pacific. In 1824 the King of Hawaii provided William with his own ship at, which time he became the captain of the Waverly.
