The public is invited to attend a series of presentations from February to April to learn more in depth about their local national marine sanctuaries. Join sanctuary researchers and resource protection staff for a series of presentations that take a deep dive into the extraordinary biodiverse ecosystems of the central California’s coast. Each presentation will cover a wide variety of topics, including the amazing octopus garden discovery on the Davidson Seamount to taking a look underwater to California’s iconic kelp forests.
This free lecture series will be held in-person at the Hearst Castle Visitor Center in San Simeon.
