Three environmental films will be screened as part of the 2025 San Luis Obispo International Film Festival.
—“Ella, El Agua,” a film from Argentina, features a professional diver and underwater film director filming ordinary individuals under the sea to raise awareness of this fragile ecosystem.
—“El Pulmo” tells the story of Mario Castro, a retired commercial fisherman, whose tireless efforts have transformed Cabo Pulmo Mexico, into the most successful marine park in the world.
—The third film, from the United Kingdom is an animated film entitled “No One is an Island.” The film explores the idea of whether it is possible for everyone to live a good life without damaging the environment.
The screenings are suitable for all ages and will be free for Film Festival pass holders and on a pay-what-you-want basis for all other attendees. All proceeds will benefit Ecologistics.
