Gyotaku Fish Prints

Gyotaku Fish Prints

Join the Estuary Program and Art Center Morro Bay for an afternoon of "gyotaku", a traditional Japanese method of printing fish using ink and rice paper.
All ages welcome at this event. Youth must be accompanied by an adult at all times - no dropoffs, please! Dress for a hands-on project and note that inks may stain clothes.
This event will be held at the Estuary Program nature center, upstairs at 601 Embarcadero in Morro Bay (in Marina Square). Arrive any time between 2:00-3:30pm. While you're waiting for your print to dry, you're welcome to explore our nature center or any of the other shops in the Marina Square building.
