The Santa Barbara Master Chorale invites you to come with them on an exploration of the soundscapes and the rhythmic fire of South America! On Saturday November 16 at 7 p.m and Sunday, November 17 at 3 p.m., the Master Chorale will present a concert featuring two extraordinary masses: Misa Criolla by Ariel Ramirez and Misa a Buenos Aires (also known as Misatango) by Martin Palmeri. Both were written by Argentine composers and utilize the harmonies, syncopated rhythms, and indigenous instruments of that country.
