Reservoir Canyon Broom Bash
Reservoir Canyon Broom Bash
Want to spend Valentines' Day showing your love for the local environment? Join the Watershed Stewards Program for our first Watershed Awareness Volunteer Event of the year.
Come help us restore endangered steelhead habitat right here in San Luis Obispo. Volunteers will pull invasive French broom, plant native seeds, and learn about the San Luis Obispo Creek Watershed. Free pizza will be provided at 1 pm for those who volunteered.
We'll provide all the tools (including work gloves), but we recommend bringing a water bottle, sturdy close-toed shoes, sun protection, and long-sleeve shirts and pants you don't mind getting dirty. This event will take place rain or shine.
