Wine and Song Road Show

Wine and Song Road Show
Host Brad Colerick will be joined by Bob and Wendy and Gráinne Hunt. The concert is outdoors and it will likely be on the cool side. 5:00 pm doors/potluck, 6:00 pm music. Bring your own beverage and dish to share or just come for the music.
Bob and Wendy’s music is a heartfelt blend of folk, Americana, and poetic storytellin — rooted deeply in California's Central Coast. Their latest album Fault Line features eight evocative tracks, each layered with Wendy Liepman’s introspective lyrics and Bob Liepman’s expressive cello and octave mandolin. They’ve been active for decades, with earlier albums like Behind the Blue (2000), Little Light (2003), and Ghost of Guadalupe (2008) showcasing their evolution from intimate acoustic arrangements to more textured, studio-polished productions. Their songs often reflect themes of resilience, nature, and emotional depth.
Gráinne Hunt is a contemporary folk singer and songwriter, raised in Monaghan and based in Kildare, Ireland. She is a standout among Ireland’s most compelling vocalists and songwriters – blending raw emotion with a quiet, commanding power. Her reputation as a powerhouse performer has landed her on stages alongside Glen Hansard and U2, with opening slots for Gladys Knight and Mary Black. Her two studio albums and live EP draw from deeply personal experiences, weaving stories of pain, longing and joy, earning her comparisons to Tracy Chapman and Natalie Merchant. She’ll be joined by rock solid percussionist/vocalist Jules Stewart of San Diego.
Brad Colerick has been presenting the Wine & Song concert series since 2009. It happens most every Wednesday night in South Pasadena. And occasionally he takes the show on the road. Billboard Magazine called him “one of a baker’s dozen of acts to watch in the folk community around the world.”
