NASA Scrubs Launch of Mars Orbiter
NASA says it will delay Thursday's launch of the Mars reconnaissance orbiter. Problems with the Atlas V rocket carrying the spacecraft couldn't be resolved in time for liftoff. An issue familiar to the crew of the Discovery prompted the scrub: a low-fuel sensor failed to work correctly.
Hardliner Captures Iranian Presidency
The mayor of Tehran -- Mahmoud Ahmadinejad -- has won Iran's presidency in a landslide. Friday's presidential runoff election was a setback for reformers who fear Ahmadinejad, 49, will take Iran back to the restrictions of the Islamic Revolution.
