Investors dumped stock in United Air Lines after a mechanics union rejected a contract deal with the nation's second-largest air carrier. Lawyers for alleged victims of priest sex abuse release the personnel files of eight priests who once worked in the Boston Roman Catholic Archdiocese. The documents suggest church officials were aware of the allegations against the priests and allowed them to remain in the ministry. Monica Brady-Myerov of member station WBUR reports.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill has resigned, and will leave office within weeks. O'Neill has been a chief adviser to President Bush on the flagging economy.
