The program helps people to increase their physical skills, confidence and self esteem through therapeutic horseback riding.
  • Also, Cal Poly Professor of History, Emeritus Dan Krieger discusses cemeteries, the Day of the Dead and Halloween History, and how they impact our culture today.
  • And Marisa Waddell visits with San Luis Obispo poet Kevin Patrick Sullivan, who's gearing up for the 30th annual San Luis Obispo Poetry Festival.

As director of programming and content, Marisa Waddell coordinates the radio programming on KCBX and KCBX HD2 and leads efforts to develop content on the KCBX website and other digital platforms. She manages the KCBX on-air staff, including the newsroom (of which she is editor-in-chief), music hosts, continuity announcers and talk show hosts and contributors. Marisa also hosts the Thursday night Americana music program The Road Home, and contributes interviews and stories to the weekly KCBX radio magazine Issues and Ideas and to KCBX News.
