Cars are rolling into Pismo Beach this weekend for the 39th annual Pismo Beach Classic Car Show and will be there until Tuesday. Around 1,000 classic cars are expected to participate.
From a classic 1940’s Ford Coupe all the way up to a 1956 Belair, true classic American cars will show out in Downtown Pismo Beach.
Keisha Green is one of the owners of the car show.
“We are downtown Pismo Beach and what we do is we shut down about 15 city blocks along with the pier and on Saturday you can't even move. They're locked and loaded and like I said thousands of the cars that are here and about 100 to 120,000 spectators that come in,” said Green.
Green also says that this year they will hand over 57 awards to classic car owners, which is the largest ever for the show.
Some events happening at the show this weekend will be a car cruise, motor revving, live bands and, of course, the award ceremony.
