The Central Coast has lost a wine legend. Archie McLaren died in his Avila Beach home Tuesday evening. He was 75. McLaren was the founder of the 32-year-old Central Coast Wine Classic, the week-long festival that put many area winemakers on the map. It also raised millions for local charities, and helped support KCBX over the years. KCBX's Greta Mart sat down with KCBX president and general manager, Frank Lanzone, to look back on McLaren’s legacy, philanthropy, and his colorful outfits.
