The SLO Jazz Federation is dedicating our regular jam session in honor and memory of Central Coast native Andy Harp who passed away last year. Andy had a 40 year association with KCBX Public Radio where he served as the music director and host of the Morning Cup of Jazz and Afternoon Classics.
He attended the Berklee School of music in Boston and had a 50+ year professional career playing trumpet for recording studios, theater groups, symphony orchestras and numerous combos.
Several musicians who played with Andy will be joining us for this special evening. Music starts at 7 pm but you are encouraged to come earlier to visit and get settled. Players and listeners of all ages are welcome.
