Kent Nagano, world renown conductor and opera administrator, will conduct a benefit concert at the Cuesta College PAC. The benefit is to raise money for the purchase of the 90-year-old Morro Elementary School site being sold by the San Luis Coastal Unified School District. Mr. Nagano attended Morro Elementary and studied music under the tutelage of Botso Koresheli there. Beginning 2026, Mr. Nagano will be the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Spanish National Orchestra in Madrid, Spain, moving on from a similar post held in Hamburg, Germany.
