Join us for Wild at Heart, Pacific Wildlife Care’s annual fundraising celebration! Enjoy an afternoon of local wine, delicious appetizers, exciting auctions, inspiring stories, and special appearances by our Animal Ambassadors, all in support of our wildlife rehabilitation and education programs that serve San Luis Obispo County every day.
Brighter Days for Donkeys Fundraiser is a Western-style dinner, auction, and party dedicated to securing the vital resources needed to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide lifelong care for abused, abandoned, and neglected donkeys.
“From Pullman to Soul Train” celebrates the extraordinary labor and civil rights legacy of the Pullman Porters and Maids. Held aboard the SLO Railroad Museum’s 100-year-old Pullman lounge car La Cuesta, this special event connects rail history and Black culture from the elegance of the Pullman era to the influence of Soul Train. Featuring a DJ, food, drink and dancing. Tickets $75 each and proceeds go to the work of the SLO NAACP chapter.

Celebrate the return of Transitions-Mental Health Association's signature fall event, Trunks of Treasure. This beloved tradition invites neighbors and supporters to gather for an unforgettable afternoon of treasure hunting, camaraderie, and meaningful philanthropy.
Guests will enjoy heavy appetizers paired with local wine while participating in the exciting challenge of unlocking hidden treasures. With 10–12 uniquely themed trunks waiting to be opened, attendees will have the chance to "try their luck" and unlock prizes, all in support of a vital cause.
All proceeds from key sales and donations during the event directly benefit the over 40 programs TMHA provides on the Central Coast.

Our nonprofits provide invaluable services to our community, but today they are under unusual stress. Funding uncertainties, new requirements, prohibitions, and other factors present new hurdles in providing much needed services to our community. This meeting is part of an ongoing effort to collaborate, share information and provide mutual support.
Full-time, paid CEOs and Executive Directors of San Luis Obispo County nonprofits are welcome.
