The Watershed Stewards Program and The Land Conservancy of SLO County are hosting a restoration event on SLO Creek.
We will be removing invasive plants such as cape ivy, English ivy, and castor bean along the creek. In addition to this, we will removing trash from in and around the creek to help protect steelhead habitat and help restore the creek.
No experience is needed to participate. Please bring sturdy closed-toe shoes, long sleeves, long pants, sunscreen, water, a hat, and waders if you have them. We will provide water, snacks, gloves, and some waders.
If it rains, the event will be rescheduled. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. Email ruby.raheja@ccc.ca.gov.
