Carnegie Lecture on William Goodwin Dana by the History Center of SLO County
Join us on Friday, December 10, as the History Center of SLO County presents our next Carnegie Lecture, “Reflections on the Life of the famous William Goodwin Dana," via Zoom at 5 pm.
We’ll hear from Dr. Joseph Dana, great-great grandson and the definitive biographer of one of the most famous rancheros of early California: William Goodwin Dana. Together with his wife Maria Josefa Carrillo, their 21 children, and many native Chumash laborers, they built the Dana Adobe in Nipomo, now a National and State Historic Monument.
Call the History Center at 805/543-0638 for more information or go to www.historycenterslo.org/lecture to register for this free event.
