Soprano and musicologist Patricia Caicedo will present a Latin American and Iberian Art Song Master Class at 11:10 a.m. Thursday, March 13, in Room 218 of the Davidson Music Center (No. 45). She has recorded 11 albums with art songs in Catalan, Portuguese, Spanish and indigenous languages. She is founder and director of the Barcelona Festival of Song, and has performed throughout the world. Cal Poly voice students will sing and be coached by Caicedo. The Music Department presentation is free and open to the public, a permit is required to park on campus.
