Lecture by Dr. Kevin Johnson, California Sea Grant Extension Aquaculture Specialist & Cal Poly Professor- This beloved professor conducts aquaculture labs and classes for the college as well as spearheads research for California Sea Grant. Basically he is an oyster specialist who grows, compares and contrast the native Olympia oysters vs the imported Pacific oyster. Accompanying him is graduate student, Shannon Baldwin, whose research encompasses a project in the Morro Bay Estuary.
