SLO County Arts and the Shanbrom Family Foundation in partnership with the Central Coast State Parks Association (CCSPA) and the Western Monarch Trail are thrilled to host the Through the Eyes of a Monarch Art Show.
The exhibit seeks to highlight the beauty and introduce the struggle the monarchs and many other pollinators face. Climate change, habitat loss, and pesticides are affecting our smallest yet very important species on earth. The art displayed at the exhibit will showcase the artists’ depiction of the monarch’s story “through the eyes/lens of a monarch.”
The exhibit will take place during the month of September in support of CCSPA and the Western Monarch Trail. The opening reception will take place Friday, September 1st from 5 to 8 pm.
