Big Daddy CainHost of Evening Blues
John "Big Daddy" Cain has loved the blues for most of his life, and has been doing blues on the radio since his college days at Cal Poly's student station, KCPR. He collects rare recordings, and seems to have an encyclopedic knowledge of the genre and its history
Big Daddy also loves southern style barbecue, and every chance he gets, he stands over hot wood coals in a tight apron serving up ribs, pulled pork, brisket and all the sides to a soundtrack of blues, soul, and R&B.
When he's not sharing blues music or BBQ, John works as the associate director of marketing at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa. He has also worked as a radio rep for Rounder Records.
