Empowering women in Santa Barbara's business community for 25 years
An organization that financially supports female business leaders in Santa Barbara is celebrating its 25th year, this year.
Women’s Economic Ventures (WEV) got its start in 1991, offering a micro-loan fund and self-employment training program. In the years since, it’s worked to establish an equitable and just society through the economic empowerment of women.
President and CEO Marsha Bailey is the organization’s founder, and joined us in studio.
