Tutor Training for Literacy Volunteers
Literacy for Life trains community members to become tutors for adults who need to improve or learn basic English language literacy skills.
Our volunteers work one-on-one with a learner. We guide our learners to identify and reach their individual literacy learning goals. Learners include both English language learners and those who primarily speak English.
The training will be in Paso Robles, but the volunteering will take place at one of our centers in San Luis Obispo County : San Luis Obispo, Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, Cambria, Los Osos, Nipomo, Paso Robles.
