The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to ring the bells at numerous Red Kettle locations around San Luis Obispo County this holiday season, Nov. 26 through Dec. 23.
Volunteers are not required to solicit donations – just ring the bell and greet passersby with a smile. Shifts are normally two hours. Volunteering as bell-ringers can be a great holiday project for service organizations, youth groups, or even a group of friends.
The annual Kettle Campaign is The Salvation Army’s most important fundraising event of the year. And this year, demand is particularly high.
