A 32-year-old Goleta woman faces a possible child endangerment charges after the sheriff's department says she left her nine-month-old son unattended in a hot car Thursday afternoon, with only the back windows partially rolled down.
The incident was reported to 9-1-1 by somebody at Goleta's Magnolia Shopping Center, where the woman had gone into a grocery store.
The temperature outside at the time was around 95 degrees, according to the sheriff's report.
A Santa Barbara County Firefighter rescued the baby, saying it was crying and hot, but otherwise in good condition.
