To address the tragic history of vulnerable unhoused people dying on the streets of Sacramento, Joshua's House will be opening its doors in July 2025 by providing hospice/supportive comfort for, and restoring the dignity of, terminally ill homeless men and women. The facility will be the first residential hospice on the West Coast for terminally ill people who are homeless. Host Kris Kington Barker will visit guests of Joshua's House to talk about the history of its development, how the community has supported it, services to be offered and why this model was chose.
