Sawyer Thomas is a rooted SLO County local who plays music and studied classical composition. He substitutes on a variety of KCBX music programs, and was an intern for KCBX News during the fall of 2024. Sawyer was the Editor-in-Chief for The Cuestonian, Cuesta College’s student-run news website. Now back in school at Cal Poly, he’s working toward a degree in journalism so he can pursue news reporting and broadcast production full time.
