Journeys of Discovery: 15-acre fiber-optic art installation coming to Paso Robles

Sensorio is situated on the east side of Paso Robles, directly across Highway 46 from Hunter Golf Course. A surreal art installation encompassing 15 rural acres, "Field of Light at Sensorio" is the creation of internationally-acclaimed artist Bruce Munro, who installed a similar light installation in the Australian outback at Uluru.

"Field of Light at Sensorio" will open to the public on May 19, 2019 and run through January 2020. Fifteen volunteers are presently completing the installation of more than 58,000 fiber-optic stemmed lights that morph through a pallet of luminous colors undulating through the countryside—reminiscent of stepping into a forest scene from the movie "Avatar."

Join Sensorio's executive director, Tracy Strann, as she shares insights about the installation with correspondent Tom Wilmer.
