The 4th of July is one of the biggest holidays in Morro Bay, attracting tourists from all over the world. Unfortunately, there will likely be litter left behind after holiday celebrations. Each year, the Estuary Program hosts a cleanup the day after July 4th to help mitigate some of this litter, and prevent it from becoming marine debris.
The Cambria Center for the Arts is pleased to present our “Travel” Exhibit featuring the work of Eric Oksen. Eric Oksen strives to evoke a sense of place through his paintings. He enjoys using windows in his art as powerful visual elements to draw viewers into every scene, conjuring imagined conversations and events. Water scenes also delight Oksen, as they allow him to explore light, color, and reflection through thoughtful application of paint to canvas. When: July 1 to August 31 (Tuesday through Sunday, 12 to 4 pm) Artist’s Reception: Saturday, July 5th 4:30 to 6:00 pmContact: www.cambriaarts.org or gallery@cambriaarts.org
